Here are the instructions to make a thermos water bottle at home.

You will need:

  • A normal glass bottle.
  • Aluminum foil.
  • Cellophane tape (gum tape).
  • Tissue paper.

Here are the steps:

Take the bottle and cover it with the aluminum foil. Make sure you cover the entire area of the bottle including the bottom. Just exclude the cap and make sure that the aluminum foil is properly pressed that it will not come out. Use a cellophane tape to paste on the foil so that it will be firm on the thermos bottle you are making. Now wrap this with a set of 8-10 tissue papers so that it makes a thermally insulated bottle. Use tape to make sure the paper is firm on the surface of bottle wrapped with foil. Now, cover the entire surface of bottle with tape and give it a proper finish.

Home made cheap thermos bottle is now ready.
